KEY REFERENCE for Sony TCD-D8

Hi DAT-Heads,

Have you suffered the effect of forgetting some of the "hidden
keystrokes" on your Sony TCD-D8? I did. Some of them are quite
practical at times. But I certainly didn't like to take the manual
everywhere around. Therefore I printed a small list of keystrokes
(without the obvious ones) onto self-adhesive paper. If you like,
do the same or glue it onto the D8 with transparent self-adhesive
plastic film (which is otherwise used for books).

I would like to share this with you D7/D8-owners. Omit the lines
you don't need.

To achieve the desired "Action", "Keys" must be pressed.
"State" is the state, in which the D8 is before keypress.

States
/            =       (exclusive) or
Rec          =       Stop, Rec        = PRESS Stop, then Rec
RecPause     =       Stop, Rec, Pause
Recording    =       Stop, Rec Pause, Play
Play         =       Stop, Play

Keys
H            behind Key means: hold this key pressed as long as
             action is desired or until action takes place.
a+b          means: press a, keep a pressed, press b, then release
             both keys.
AMS          Automatic Music Search (searches start IDs).
